Whistle Blower Lawyers? Find out how to select one!
As a salaried employee you are exposed to much more information that could place you into a position of needing the Law.Ethics are an important part of who we are and what kinds of things we will over look and where we will draw the line.
I don’t want to get fired!
If we see that our senior management team is directing us to over look EPA regulatory requirements, and our moral make up knows it is wrong, what do we do? We need our job, but we know that it’s wrong!
Our family depends on us! What about all the other families that may get hurt over my coming forward? These are all good questions! These are all tough questions to be faced with! For more information about the Law and your rights check out any of the sponsored links I have on this page. There is power in knowledge and information is the key to knowledge. The following information came directly from the following government website: http://www.dol.gov/compliance/topics/whistleblower.htm The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act) and a number of other laws protect workers against retaliation for complaining to their employers, unions, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), or other government agencies about unsafe or unhealthful conditions in the workplace, environmental problems, certain public safety hazards, and certain violations of federal provisions concerning securities fraud, as well as for engaging in other related protected activities. Whistle blowers may not be transferred, denied a raise, have their hours reduced, or be fired or punished in any other way because they have exercised any right afforded to them under one of the laws that protect whistle blowers. Pursuant to most of these laws, discrimination complaints must be filed within 30 days of the alleged reprisal. OSHA Area Office staff can explain the protections under the whistle blower laws and deadlines for filing complaints.
Good Luck and May God Bless You!
