Military Leadership Training
When it comes to military leadership training the Marine Corps just may be the best ever. However, a good argument could be made that the best leaders are produced by every branch of the military. This statement could also probably be debated. However this country's military does lead a more defined life style than that of civilians. Every soldier in each branch of the military undergoes leadership training.
The military and its military leadership training programs are an organization authorized by its government and greater society to defend its country by combating any and all perceived threats. The military of all branches are authorized to use lethal force and weapons if necessary if threats are perceived.
The military leadership training begins with basic training.
Each branch of the military is a society that functions within a society. Each military branch operates its own communities, economies, education, medicine, judiciary and other aspects of a functioning civilian society separately.
The leadership training begins with basic training. The basic training program is designed scientifically and psychologically to dismantle the civilian and build a physically fit and dedicated member of the U S Armed Services. As each soldier learns to work as a team and meets each criteria for leadership his/her rank increases. As each soldiers rank increases their responsibilities increase. Each increase in rank and responsibility instills the concept and execution of leadership.
They are also, taught mental and physical challenges, leadership principles, courage, resourcefulness, respect and to inspire others.
The military leadership trainings however, do differ from military branch to branch. Such as
Marines they are taught leadership abilities and knowledge from the beginning. They are also, taught mental and physical challenges, leadership principles, courage, resourcefulness, respect and to inspire others. Navy they are taught leadership based upon their assigned team. All naval personnel must learn and use many forms of technology. Leadership skills are taught and learned from each other. Army their leadership is classified by what is deemed as military behavior self-discipline, sacrifice, loyalty and obedience and influencing and managing others. Air Force they are expected to influence and negotiate effectively with others. Leaders in the Air Force are to act as mentor and implement their authority (based upon rank) and guide others.
There are 11 general military leadership training principles. These principles may differ in wordage across each branch however the goals are the same. These general principles are proficiency and self-improvement, understanding, information and examples, clarity, teamwork, decisions and responsibilities, skill level, and leadership.
There are several ways to prepare for a military lifestyle prior to enlisting.
There are several ways to prepare for a military lifestyle prior to enlisting. If you would like to prepare for the military training program you can enroll in one of the many public and private school ROTC programs around the world. These programs are designed to provide military leadership and management training. These programs are also, designed for students who think or would like to pursue joining a branch of the military upon graduation from high school or college.
The military leadership training programs offers above standard benefits. Military officers earn extra pay for special duty assignments, hardship assignments, certified strategically foreign language, certified pilots, dentist and medical doctors. There are some positions that require off base living, there are specific above the standard financial benefits, above standard leave time, pension and education benefits.
