Andy Rooney's “My War” is captivating. I found myself not wanting to put this book down until I had read it completely through. I remember I had bought this book to read when my wife had minor surgery and I must tell you I was drawn to it from the opening line to the very end. Andy Rooney has a way of telling a story that is just fantastic. He details his life experience during the war in a truly amazing and inspiring way! You will not put this book down until you finish it!!! You got to get this book!
Rick Warren does a great job of leading you through what could make up a very purpose drive life! I read this while meeting weekly with a small group so that we could discuss in depth our take on what we had read. However, it will do you good to read it as an individual as well. This will help you focus on what is really important, and what is not! Recommended for everyone of all ages!
