Employment Posters

employment posters The federal law requires that a number of employment posters be posted in the work area depending on the size of your operation.

Here is a list of those required posters:

Equal Employment Opportunity

Family Medical Leave Act (Employers with fifty or more employees)

Family Medical Leave Act Insert for Military Family Leave Amendments.

Federal Minimum Wage (This poster must be displayed on an employee bulletin board)

Job Safety and Health (OSHA)

Employee Polygraph Protection Act (Does not apply to Public Employers)

Search Thousands of legal formsUniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act

Depending on your state they will most likely have posters that are required also.

You can generally get these posters free; however, you can also order them for a small fee from a number of places.

Depending on the size of your company those requirements can change. In most cases that number is fifty or more employees, but since this can change quickly I would always recommend that you verify this. You should be able to contact your state labor department.

In many cases you can get the posters free from the labor department but again it may depend on your local department. For the most part they can be purchased very inexpensively online. The good part of that is that they generally put them all on one giant poster so that it is easier to post.

The bottom line is you need to have what ever employment posters that your state requires as wells as the federal ones.

One of the best ways to purchase your state and federal labor law posters is in an all in one poster. Although I have personally never purchased any from the this company I did find them online at http://www.laborlawposter.com/site/index.html. Understand I don't profit at all from any purchase you make from this company, but I did notice that they offer all the required posters at least at the time of this posting.

Good Luck and May God Bless You!
